Beyond Borders, Towards Breakthroughs: Three DPS Raipur Teams Advance to the International Far Away Innovation Competition


Innovation often begins with a question, but it is sustained by the courage to imagine solutions that can transform the future. Demonstrating this spirit of inquiry and excellence, three teams from Delhi Public School, Raipur have earned selection for the prestigious Far Away International Innovation Competition held on 5th July. This competition provides a global innovation and entrepreneurship platform that brings together young minds from across the world to address real-world challenges through technology, creativity, and design thinking.

The competition provides students with an opportunity to collaborate, innovate, and develop impactful solutions under the guidance of industry experts and mentors. Following a rigorous selection process, three teams from DPS Raipur have successfully qualified for the next stage of the competition, scheduled to be held in Punjab. Teams advancing from this round will secure the honour of representing India in Japan at the international finale.

The selected projects reflect the students' commitment to solving contemporary challenges through innovation. Team 1 consisted of Suyash Agrawal of class X, Atman Shri Shukla of class X, Harsh Rana (Alumnus) has developed Project MARS (Multi-Agent Railway System), an intelligent solution focused on railway infrastructure ageing and track monitoring, capable of providing timely recommendations for enhanced safety and maintenance. Team 2 members Anahita Mishra, Rashi Agrawal, Keshav Agrawal, and Prarthana Agrawal (all from class X) have created Project Proctor, a digital platform designed to help students report examination-related concerns, including paper leaks, while generating analytical reports to support the National Testing Agency (NTA) in ensuring transparency and accountability. Team 3 which involved of Vaibhav Chandiok, Arnav Agrawal, Uditi Gupta, Navya Yadav, and Krisha Jain (all from class XI) has proposed an advanced system centred on railway rerouting, automation, and industrial integration, aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing logistical challenges.

This remarkable achievement stands as a testament to the vibrant culture of innovation fostered through the ATL Lab and innovation ecosystem at DPS Raipur.
