Artistry in Excellence: DPS Raipur Shines at Kaushal Mahotsav
A celebration of talent becomes truly meaningful when dedication finds its finest expression on the stage. At Kaushal Mahotsav - All India National Competition of Performing Arts, organised by KPS Dunda, on 4th August, the students of Delhi Public School, Raipur transformed their artistic pursuits into a remarkable saga of excellence, securing top honours across multiple categories and reaffirming the school's commitment to nurturing holistic devselopment.
The school's Theatre Team delivered an outstanding performance to claim First Prize. The winning ensemble comprised Nishika Balani (VIII E), Anaya Agrawal (VIII A), Vivaan Hardwani (VIII C), Harshvardhan Sachdev (VIII F), Shanaya Khemani (VIII F), Saanvi Bindhani (VII E), Aakriti Khemani (VIII F), Shanaya Sachdev (VIII E), Avantika Shree Jha (VIII A), Hazel Jumnani (VIII F), Dhruvi Sharma (VII H), Aanya Singh (VII H), Khwaish Jumnani (VIII C) and Darsh Bansal (VIII B), whose compelling presentation earned widespread appreciation from the judges and audience alike.
Equally commendable was the school's Musical Band, which also secured First Prize. The talented team included Bhavya Kabra (VIII C), Shravan K. (VIII F), Garv Jain (VII C), Arjun Garg (IX B), Aaryaman Sharma (VII H), Parth Shah (IX B), Atraiu Ghosh (XI A) and Vijaya Biswas (X B), whose harmonious performance reflected exceptional musical finesse and teamwork. In the individual events, Tanya Sengupta emerged as the First Prize winner in the Classical Vocal category and was conferred the prestigious Pandit Vishnu Krishna Joshi Award, accompanied by a cash prize of ?5,000, in recognition of her extraordinary musical artistry. Krisha Singhal added to the school's glory by securing the Third Prize in the Classical Vocal category, while Vijaya Biswas earned the Second Prize in the Light Solo Song competition.
The celebrations extended to the dance arena, where Aarna Purseth (XI F) and Reet Doultani (XI C) secured First Prize in the Inter-School Dance Competition, captivating the audience with their grace, rhythm and expressive performance.
These remarkable accomplishments stand as a testament to the unwavering dedication of the students, the meticulous guidance of their mentors and the steadfast support of their parents. Delhi Public School, Raipur proudly congratulates all the winners and participants for their exceptional achievements and wishes them continued success as they continue to illuminate every stage with excellence and artistry.
