Visit to Bal Ashram

Visit to Bal Ashram on Raksha Bandhan
On 8th August, thirty-two enthusiastic students of Class VI from Delhi Public School, Raipur, embarked on a heartwarming visit to Bal Ashram, an orphanage at Kacheri Chowk, Raipur, to celebrate the pious festival of Raksha Bandhan. The spirit of joy and compassion shone brightly in their young hearts as they carried with them beautifully crafted rakhis, packets of biscuits, baskets of fresh fruits, and boxes of chocolates to share with the children of the Ashram.
The atmosphere soon blossomed with cheer as the students tied rakhis on the wrists of their newfound brothers and sisters. The sparkle in the eyes of the orphans reflected the warmth of belonging and the tender bond of siblinghood. Sweet laughter echoed through the hall as stories were exchanged and love wove invisible threads stronger than silk.
This simple act of giving turned the day into an unforgettable celebration, reminding everyone that the true essence of Raksha Bandhan lies not just in rituals but in the spirit of care, unity, and kindness. The visit left both the students and the Ashram children with hearts brimming with joy, teaching them that the greatest gift one can offer is love and togetherness.
