National Space Day Celebration

DPS Raipur celebrated National Space Day with great zeal and reverence, offering students a glimpse into the marvels of India's space odyssey. A contingent of 120 enthusiastic learners from Classes VII, VIII, and IX embarked on an enlightening visit to the Chhattisgarh Science Centre, where the cosmos unfolded before their curious eyes.

The programme commenced with a fascinating space exhibition, brimming with models, visuals, and scientific wonders that transported students beyond the earthly realm. An inspiring lecture by the eminent Prof. S.K. Pandey further deepened their understanding, as he eloquently traced India's extraordinary journey from humble beginnings to the triumphant strides of Chandrayaan. The screening of the Chandrayaan movie added a cinematic brilliance, igniting a sense of pride and wonder in young minds. Interactive sessions kept curiosity alive, allowing students to question, reflect, and dream of reaching the stars themselves.

Amidst the celebrations, Arush Kumar Gupta of Class VI-D brought laurels to the school by securing a special prize for his creative model on Solstice and Equinox, a testament to the spirit of inquiry nurtured at DPS Raipur.

The occasion became a memorable voyage - one that honored India's space legacy while inspiring future explorers to soar beyond horizon.
