Annual Award Ceremony 2024-25: Celebrating Merit, Perseverance and Excellence at DPS Raipur

Delhi Public School, Raipur hosted its much-anticipated Annual Award Ceremony with great solemnity and splendor, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing excellence and recognizing merit. The ceremony, held on 6th December, stood as a proud testament to the school's vision of fostering intellectual brilliance, ethical leadership, and holistic development among its students.

The event was graced by the distinguished presence of Dr. N. V. Ramana Rao, Director of NIT, Raipur, who presided as the Chief Guest. His erudite persona and inspiring address added immense value to the occasion. He, along with other eminent dignitaries, was accorded a warm and respectful welcome marked by a soulful choir presentation, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp to invoke the blessings of Goddess Saraswati and formally commence the august ceremony.

The ceremony witnessed an overwhelming participation, with nearly 360 students being honored for their exemplary achievements across academic and co-scholastic domains. The proceedings began with the presentation of the Annual Report by the Principal, Mr. Raghunath Mukherjee, highlighting the remarkable milestones achieved by the students over the past academic year. The report eloquently reflected the institution's consistent pursuit of excellence and the steadfast guidance provided by its faculty.

Special accolades were conferred upon students for exceptional academic performance. 34 students from Class X and 50 students from Class XII were felicitated for securing distinctions, with several receiving scholarships for scoring above 90%. Noteworthy among them was Aishwarya Nebhwani, who secured the first position in the school with an impressive aggregate of 97.8%. The prestigious Pro Vice Chairman's Award was presented to four students for being CBSE National Toppers, reinforcing the school's academic eminence on a national platform.

The ceremony also celebrated sustained excellence through the conferment of Scholar Badges, Scholar Blazers, Scholar Ties, and Piped Blazers, recognizing students for consistent scholastic performance, flawless attendance, and national-level achievements in sports, music, dance, science, literary activities, and quizzes. These awards underscored DPS Raipur's emphasis on all-round development and perseverance.

The event concluded on a note of pride and aspiration, resonating with the belief that while achievements bring contentment, the quest for excellence must remain unceasing.
