DPS Raipur Ignites Young Diplomacy at the 13th Edition of Model United Nations

Delhi Public School, Raipur, successfully hosted the thirteenth edition of its prestigious Model United Nations (MUN) conference from 13th to 16th October 2025, an event that continues to serve as a vibrant platform for young minds to deliberate on pressing global issues. Nearly 400 delegates from Classes VII to XII representing several eminent schools of the city participated with remarkable enthusiasm, showcasing intellect, diplomacy, and leadership.

The conference was divided into seven dynamic committees - United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), Kurukshetra, All India Stakeholders Meet (AISM), Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW), All India Political Party Meet (AIPPM), and International Press (IP) - each, engaging participants in rigorous discussions on contemporary socio-political themes.

The MUN served as an enriching platform for students to enhance their critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and public speaking skills. Senior students and alumni of DPS Raipur efficiently chaired and coordinated the committees, ensuring seamless execution throughout the four-day event.

The conference culminated with an elegant closing ceremony, during which committee-wise achievers were honoured with Certificates of Appreciation and Mementos under categories such as Best Delegate, Outstanding Delegate, Honourable Mention, Best Diplomat, Best Speaker, Best Position Paper, and Best Crisis Manager.

The Core committee members, Under Secretary Generals, organizing Committee members, the participating school teachers and all the alumni involved in the event were thoroughly appreciated and felicitated with a token of love.

The event concluded on a triumphant note, epitomizing teamwork, intellect, and diplomacy at its finest.
