CBSE Far East Zone Swimming Championship held at Sanskar International School, Bargarh, Odisha from 18th to 20th July 2025

The swimmers of Delhi Public School, Raipur made a big splash at the CBSE Far East Zone Swimming Championship, held at Sanskar International School, Bargarh. Odisha, from 18th to 20th July 2025. Competing against over 1000 participants from across the states of Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal, Assam and Manipur, the talented team brought home a total of 20 medals - 5 Gold, 10 Silver, and 5 Bronze - showcasing exceptional skill, grit, and sportsmanship.

Abir Luthra, Tanish Goyal, Viaan Shah of class five, Praneet Harlalka of class four and Nihal Singh of class three have bagged Gold medals in 4X50m Medley Relay. All of them have also won Bronze medals in 4X50m Freestyle Relay.

Naman Netam of class seven earned a Silver medal in 200m Backstroke. Sia Rajput of class ten has bagged a Silver Medal in 50m Butterfly.

Sia Rajput, Yashika Wadhwani and Anshika Jain of class ten and Rachel Ana Pannalal of class seven have got Silver Medals in 4X100m Medley Relay and in 4X1000m Freestyle Relay.

Their remarkable performance has earned 10 students a coveted spot at the CBSE National Swimming Championship, to be held at KIIT International School, Bhubaneswar, Odisha from 24th to 27th September 2025.
