Smash to Success: DPS Raipur Excels in CBSE Cluster 2 Badminton Tournament

The students of DPS Raipur brought laurels to the school by showcasing their exceptional skills at the CBSE Cluster 2 Badminton Championship 2025, held from 1st to 3rd August 2025 at DPS Farakka, Murshidabad (West Bengal). The championship witnessed spirited participation from schools across the region, and our players stood out with their outstanding performance and determination.

In the Under-14 Boys category, the team comprising Shashwat Shri Mishra (Class VI), Abhumanyu Singh (Class VI), and Shreyansh Mistry (Class VIII) clinched the Gold Medal, securing their place in the prestigious CBSE Nationals. Their teamwork, agility, and consistent effort were widely appreciated.

Equally commendable was the performance of our girls' teams. In the Under-17 Girls category, Tanusha Banerjee (Class IX), Shauvi Gupta (Class VIII), and Aalya Talreja (Class X) won the Bronze Medal, displaying remarkable grit and sportsmanship. Continuing the winning streak, the Under-19 Girls team, consisting of Aarushi Kapil Alwa (Class X), Anvita Dwivedi (Class XI), Tejasvi Singh (Class XI), and Sunandini Khatore (Class X), also secured the Bronze Medal with a spirited performance. The school community congratulates all the players for their dedication and discipline, and wishes the U-14 Boys' team great success at the CBSE Nationals.
