DPS Raipur Shines at the 1st Riverdale Open School Chess Tournament 2025

Delhi Public School, Raipur added yet another accolade to its distinguished record of achievements as its students delivered an exceptional performance at the 1st Riverdale Open School Chess Tournament 2025, held on 7 December 2025 at Riverdale World School. Competing with skill, composure and strategic brilliance, the DPS Raipur team secured the Runner-Up position, marking a proud moment for the institution.

The young chess enthusiasts who represented the school were: Pratishtha Ahirwar (VIII-A), Advit Pandey (VII-E), Advika Pandey (VII-B), Pranjal Ahirwar (VI-H), Arnav Jhamnani (V-D) and Shivaay Khemani (II-B). Each participant demonstrated commendable analytical thinking and sportsmanship, reflecting the school's emphasis on nurturing both intellectual rigour and character.

In addition to securing the Runner-Up trophy, DPS Raipur was honoured with the prestigious Overall Chess Award, further affirming the team's consistent excellence across categories.
