DPS Raipur Students Excel at International FIDE Chess Championship

Students of Delhi Public School, Raipur, brought great honour to the institution by excelling at the International FIDE Rating Open Chess Championship held in Visakhapatnam from 25th to 28th December. Demonstrating exceptional talent, discipline, and strategic insight, the young participants showcased commendable skills in a highly competitive arena that featured promising chess players from various regions.

Pratishtha Ahirwar of Class 8 secured the First Rank in the Under-13 Category, earning a cash prize of Rs. 3000 and a prestigious trophy, reflecting her consistent hard work and remarkable analytical ability. Equally commendable was the performance of Pranjal Ahirwar of Class 6, who attained the Third Rank in the Below-1500 Rating Category and was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 6000. Their achievements stand as a testament to perseverance, dedication, and strong competitive spirit.

Their outstanding accomplishments not only highlight individual excellence but also signify the school's commitment to nurturing talent and encouraging participation in intellectually enriching pursuits.
