Delhi Public School, Raipur added another remarkable chapter to its legacy of excellence as its young chess prodigies secured the 1st Runner-Up position at the Inter DPS National Chess Championship Girls (Open) 2026, hosted by DPS Dwarka Expressway, Sector-103, Haryana, from 30th to 31st July 2026.

In chess, victories are seldom won by chance; they are crafted through foresight, discipline, and the courage to make the right move at the right moment. Demonstrating these very qualities, Pratishtha Ahirwar of Class IX D and Advika Pandey of Class VIII B delivered an exceptional performance at the Inter DPS National Chess Championship Girls (Open) 2026.

Competing against some of the finest young chess players from DPS schools across the country, the duo displayed remarkable composure, strategic brilliance, and competitive spirit throughout the championship. Their calculated moves, unwavering concentration, and ability to navigate complex positions earned them the prestigious title of 1st Runner-Up, bringing national recognition to DPS Raipur.
